Our smallholder farmers have participated in pumpkin production underguidance of the agriculture expert Community Mobilisation AgainstDesertification (C-MAD) . It’s founder has beenworking in the field for more than 35 years. Moreover, our farmers participatedin a food-handling training by an external organisation called Agricycle . The CEO Patrick and his team are anofficial partner of the Food and Agriculture Organisation and have a network ofover 90,000 small-holder farmers all over East Africa. Charles’ andPatrick’s passion for improving the lives of his farmers still goes on. In apilot project Charles proved that through better training and connecting peopleto markets he was able to increase their income by 20%. After scaling up theproject he even managed to boost their income by 50%.
